Our friends at Grounded took a well-earned break for Christmas and have still made significant progress on the Eaton Fair expansion since our last update.

Construction is now well underway, with approximately half of the ground floor concrete slab poured. You may have also noticed the early stages of the building taking shape, as structural columns are now being erected. These columns are a key milestone and will soon support works on the upper deck, which will include additional car bays and the highly anticipated 7-screen cinema.

In the coming weeks, precast concrete wall panels will begin to be installed. This stage of construction will make the scale and layout of the expansion much more visible and will provide a clearer picture of how the new development will integrate with the existing centre.

While much of the current activity is focused on essential in-ground services and structural works, this is an exciting foundation phase. As we move into the first part of 2026, the building will continue to rise and visibly transform, with more above-ground elements coming together.
